A multiperspective evaluation of a business-education program for the homebound handicapped at Queensborough Community College in New York indicates that this program has been successful in providing this group with an opportunity to successfully continue their education as measured by academic performance and a convergence of positive student, peer, and faculty attitudes. By soliciting information from homebound students, their in-class peers, and faculty, the opinions and needs of all program participants could be assessed in relation to one another. Of particular interest, beyond the high achievement level of the homebound student and the highly positive attitudes of all involved, is the agreement among suggestions for improvement gathered from three participating groups. |
