Este trabalho refere-se ao estudo da estimativa e distribuição da precipitação mensal provável no Estado do Paraná, realizado a partir de dados de precipitação diária observados em 22 postos de coleta, com série histórica entre 12 e 26 anos. As 22 séries foram ajustadas através das distribuições Gama e Log-normal, usando o método da máximaverossimilhança, a partir do qual obteve-se-se a precipitação provável com 75% de probabilidade, para períodos de 30 dias. Os testes Qui-quadrado e Kolmogorov-Smirnov, com 5% de significância, foram empregados para verificar qual das duas distribuições melhor descreve o comportamento das condições pluviométricas do Estado do Paraná. Os resultados mostraram que a distribuição Gama ajustou-se mais adequadamente às condições pluviométricas do Estado, para o período e estações consideradas. Os meses mais chuvosos são janeiro e fevereiro, enquanto os mais secos são julho e agosto. O Estado do Paraná apresenta aumento na quantidade de precipitação pluviométrica na direção oeste/litoral e norte/sul nos períodos mais chuvosos e secos, respectivamente.Estimate and probable monthly rain precipitation in the state ofParaná through daily precipitation data observed in 22 collection sites ranging between 12 and 26 years are analyzed. All the rainfall series were fitted by gamma and lognormal distributions using likelihood method for parameters. The probable precipitation forperiods of 30 days with 75% probability level was estimated by both distribution models. The chi-square and Kolmogorov-Smirnov tests, at 5% level of significance, were used to check which of the distributions could better be adjusted to pluviometrical conditions inthe state of Paraná. Results show that the range distribution tends to adjust appropriately to the pluviometrical conditions of the state during the studied period. The rainiest months are January and February, while the driest ones are July and August. The state of Paraná presents an increase in the amount of precipitation which is more observed on coast/west and north/south, during the rainiest and driest periods, respectively. |
