Individual state profiles are available as well as state comparisons on specific topics. Some categories include Medicaid and SCHIP, Medicare, health costs and budgets, managed care and health insurance, providers and service use, to cite only a few. The State Health Facts Internet site provides an enormous amount of data that can assist many researchers, librarians, medical and health care workers, and sociologists.
