This paper analyses the phenomenon of the French version of Big Brother in relation to globalisation and democratising, and suggests techniques for its pedagogical exploitation which will enable undergraduates to reflect on intercultural issues arising out of their own experience of the programme's reception during their year abroad. Cet article analyse le phenomene de la version francaise de Big Brother par rapport aux processus de mondialisation et de democratisation et offre des exemples d'exploitation pedagogique permettant aux etudiants de reflechir aux implications interculturelles de leur experience personnelle de la reception de l'emission pendant l'annee qu'ils ont passee a l'etranger. |
