The University of Southern Colorado shares its catalog with four Pueblo area high schools. In 2001, university librarians obtained and implemented Epixtech's Remote Patron Authentication program concurrently with installing iPac 1.01. The schools' catalogs were separated by their specific collections, customized to reflect each constituency, and linked to the RPA system offering each school's respective databases. Additionally, for the first time, the University's Continuing Education students were included in the catalog patron file to provide them with equitable library services. Results of a survey on the perceived ease of off-campus database access for the University community are included. |
