The following account draws, selectively, from an action research process initiated at the end of 1992 and set to continue into the next millennium, which takes as its concern the development of ethics education for police leaders and managers in the United Kingdom. Key learnings and developments concerning the content of ethics education, the methods for delivering that education, the person of the 'educator' and the nature of the client group experiencing that educational experience are described. The learnings and developments so achieved are directly attributable to the practice of action research. |
