Bayesian deduction of marginal from conditional probabilities

Title: Bayesian deduction of marginal from conditional probabilities
Author: Johnson, Charles R.
Appeared in: Linear & multilinear algebra
Paging: Volume 11 (1982) nr. 4 pages 333-350
Year: 1982
Contents: Two necessary and sufficient conditions are given for the unique deducibility of marginal probabilities from conditional probabilities in a Bayesian context. The conditions are combinatorial in nature, and several solution techniques are indicated. The existence question is treated, and the full range of possible solutions is determined (in the nonunique case).
