Similarities between the life and work of Joseph Rychlak and the life and work of Immanuel Kant are presented. Both Rychlak and Kant were interested in epistemology and had other common personal and scholarly interests. A claim is made that both Rychlak and Kant initiated revolutions in their respective disciplines. Finally, both Kant and Rychlak saw their ideas serve as a cornerstone for pluralistic worldviews. Kant was uncomfortable with this, as is Rychlak. |
