This essay describes the methodology employed in an ethnographic study of eighteen feminist college teachers. The themes of mastery, authority, and positionality were used to analyze pedagogies in these classrooms. These themes are explored in terms of their methodological implications and the articulation of the authors' relationships with their informants and their concerns as feminist ethnographers. |
