In this paper, we investigate the effectiveness of spin-offs' human resource organization quality and capacity within the existing four Greek Science and Technology Parks (STPs). For this purpose, we distributed a critical number of questionnaires to the spin-offs and then we analysed quantitatively the data collected to examine whether firms born within the parks have developed a functional human resource organization and performance. We finally mix the most important research questions to be taken into consideration prospectively into our second part research-in-progress, together with some preliminary suggested policy prescriptions for restoring spin-offs' HRD efficiency and effectiveness. |
