This paper presents various novel, general and comprehensive models for simulation of single line to ground fault ( SLG) double line to ground fault ( DLG), and three phase fault (3φ ) in synchronous generator using phase coordinate theory. Simulated synchrounous machine is connected to infinite busbar via short three phase transmission line, and is equipped with automatic voltage regulator ( A.V.R), power system stabilizer (P.S.S), and turbine governor sets. The effects of local load at machine' s terminals, fault impedance, and stator neutral grounding impedance are also considered. In proposed models, the Fourier expansion terms can be utilized in machine's inductance matrix. Simulation program written in C language has shown the usefulness of proposed models.
