ARTICULATION AND TRANSFER POLICIES AND PRACTICES OF CATHOLIC COLLEGES IN PENNSYLVANIA

Titel: ARTICULATION AND TRANSFER POLICIES AND PRACTICES OF CATHOLIC COLLEGES IN PENNSYLVANIA
Auteur: O'Grady, Eleanor
Verschenen in: Community college journal of research and practice
Paginering: Jaargang 19 (1995) nr. 1 pagina's 73-82
Jaar: 1995-01
Inhoud: As a result of recent nationwide studies conducted by the American Association of Community and Junior Colleges (Bender, 1990), the National Center for Academic Achievement and Transfer (1990), the Florida State Board of Community Colleges (1988), Kintzer (1989), and Knoell (1987), data on articulation and transfer policies and practices of public institutions are now available. However, the literature of higher education does not report studies that address articulation and transfer policies and practices of the more than 200 Catholic colleges that contribute to diversity within higher education (Crocker, 1982). This study was conducted to determine the articulation and transfer policies and practices of the 24 four-year Catholic colleges in Pennsylvania with the community colleges in the state and to conduct a case study of the institution that reported the greatest number in effect.
