The paired comparison model proposed by Bradlay and Tarry (1952) is extanded to account for within-pair order effects La. paired comaparison experiments. The L.A.M.S.T. procedure given by Bhat and Nagnur (1955) is applied in testing hypotheses about the parameters of the model. For the hypothesis of aquality of preference ratings when there is a common order-effect parametar far all pairs, it is shown that the proposed test procedure is batter than those proposed by other authors in the sense that its asymptotic relative efficiency is greater than or equal to one. A numerical example is also given. |
