A method of on-line robust control based on an external loop was proposed. The control structure was set up by adding an external loop to the conventional feedback control system. A filter was implemented in the external loop for robust control. Design of the filter was based on a robust stability index (RSI) which was on-line determined. The proposed robust control was carried out without changing the original feedback design of the control system. |
