Based on considerations related to structural changes that have been occuring in the internal organization of agricultural production, Brazil, with a tendency towards increasing the capitalist market, is studying various underlying situations relative to the manner, of inserting women in agricultural work, which is the theme of this research. This paper proposes to search for and organize recent statistical information (IBGE (PNAD, 1999) in reference to population characteristics for those active in agricultural labor with the intention of understanding the manners proposed to restructure female labor. The somber vision of the reality of brazilian country life in the era of globalization, makes it difficult to understand how to change the precarious and subordinate work position of women in productive activities. |
