The phase transition of cholesteryl p-phenoxy-phenyl carbamate, cholesteryl pphenoxy-phenyl thiocarbonate, cholesteryl thiophenoxy-phenyl carbamate and cholesteryl pthiophenoxy-phenyl thiocarbonate have been measured with the aid of differential scanningcalorimetry. The texture of the mesophases have been determined with a hot stage equippedpolarizing microscope. The phase transition schemes have been described. |
