This study analyzes the home loan of natural science books from The Ohio State University Libraries. Using the Chi Square test of association, the rates of return of the book materials are compared to other studies of home loans. The comparison reveals that patron status, subject, penalties, and loan period length should be further investigated to determine their importance for loan policy. Publicity should be tested as a tool for increasing the timely return of books. |
