Dibenz[a,h]anthracenes: Studies between HMO theoretical reactivity indices and carcinogenicity

Title: Dibenz[a,h]anthracenes: Studies between HMO theoretical reactivity indices and carcinogenicity
Author: Robbins, Donald A.
Soriano, David S.
Draeger, Jon A.
Robbins, Andrea M.
Appeared in: Journal of environmental science and health. Part A, Toxic/hazardous substances & environmental engineering
Paging: Volume 27 (1992) nr. 1 pages 89-104
Year: 1992-01
Contents: Methyl substitution in dibenz[a,h]anthracene leads to isomeric derivatives with distinctly different carcinogenic potencies. Using the elements of Bay Region carbonium ions and the Seybold-Smith reactivity theory, these differences in carcinogenic activity will be examined using theoretical Huckel molecular orbital reactivity indices.
