This article describes a course that focused on an object-oriented approach to problem solving. The students used this approach in the design and implementation of two programs with substantial window interfaces created through Turbo Vision. Turbo Vision is Borland's (1990) DOS-based, object-oriented framework for creating windows. The students' experiences with object-oriented programming (OOP)--including their views of Turbo Vision--are presented. |
