This paper highlights the studies performed to arrive at a novel handoff scheme in achieving uninterruptedconnectivity. Every wireless communication user prefers seamless mobility and uninterruptedcommunication. Achieving this scenario is quite challenging both technologically and economically. Fewof the reasons are geographical and man made constraints. Dynamic changes in environment and everchanging geographical landscape also pose serious difficulties to engineers involved in design of wirelesssystems. The following schemes have been suggested in an effort to improve Q.o.S of wireless mobilecommunication scenarios. |
