Nowadays, applications based on TCP/IP (transmission control protocol/internet protocol) network are growing rapidly, monitoring and control functions will be more easily and widely accessible by this networks. Any PC (Personal Computer) can be connected to many microcontroller, but still there are difficulties to access directly to each microcontroller through TCP/IP networks. This research study the use of virtual IP on a PC that connected with several microcontrollers, while each microcontroller is connected to a sensor device for monitoring temperature and a relay for controlling. In this way, each set of the microcontroller can be accessed directly using the IP that assigned to it. The results show that this system as a whole can function as a distributed monitoring and controlling system which also have the ability to record and display the results of its monitoring in the form of graphs. |
