This study aims to design a car alarm system. The system is designed to activating an alarm (danger signal) and sends SMS messages to the HP owners of the car when sensors on the car alarm are active. The hardware of car alarm system use AT89S52 microcontroller based on SMS in this research, consists of a series of 4 main parts, namely the minimum system microcontroller circuits, power supply, serial communications, and input/output. In an SMS text sent and received from the cell phone to the SMS Center flows in the form of PDU (Protocol Data Unit). The SMS format is divided into several segments of data that each segment has a specific purpose. Segments are: SMS center number, destination number, bytes SMS settings for this and most important is the content of SMS messages that have been modified in the form of UPE. The instructions AT Command is required to send or upload SMS data to mobile phone and send SMS data. The results showed that the performance of the alarm system designed is work properly. |
