An updated checklist of gastropods from flat Lobos reef, Veracruz, Mexico (21° 27 ’ 15 ” N y 97 ° 13 ’ 45 ” W) ispresented. For this purpose, we made four expeditions to Lobos reef, hazardous (April and October 2003) and systematic(April and September 2004) sampling. In the last case, we used three transect belt of 50 m of length in each station and weobtained 54 samples of sediment. Seventy seven species, 65 genera and 37 families were identified, eight of them, are newrecords. The gastropod fauna to Lobos reef is formed by 171 species, 120 genera and 61 families. The families speciesrichestat Lobos reef are: Pyramidellidae (12 species), Caecidae (11 species), Fissurellidae (10 species) and Rissoidae (8species).
