In this study, it is aimed to illustrate that fuzzy logic can be used for selecting Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software for a liner shipping company. For this purpose, a shipping company in Turkey is selected as a case study. Traditional software evaluation techniques such as request for information/request for proposal and scripted scenario approaches are investigated together with fuzzy logic for this case. The results indicated that traditional techniques are necessary but not sufficient for ERP software evaluation in shipping industry and fuzzy methodology can also be used effectively. |
