The radical environmentalist movement has led to a dangeroustrend in global politics, Eco-Imperialism. Under the guise of “climate change” and “resource protection” the developed global North seeks to control, both politically and practically, the resources of the less developed world. The authors argue that the educated and informed community should realize the true nature of these efforts, and posit a parallel between imperialism of the past and Eco-Imperialism today. |
