In recent times that the world experiences, as a partof globalization progress, regional integrations arebeing speed up. In this paper, Import Foods andMarketing in Türkiye are discussed. The demandfor the imported products provides rivalryadvantage for the foreign producers in Turkishmarket. On the other hand, this advantage isreduced by the consumers’ income.Food industry is one of the leading sectors inTurkish economy. While protecting the processed food product sector, the market share andcompetitive strength of the imported processed foodcan be increased by consistent governmentalpolicies. To achieve this goal, importing the rare orabsent product should be allowed, agriculturalpolicies must be updated, and, the supports for foodindustry development should be provided.Furthermore, economical inducements to increasethe competition ability of SMEs must be supplied inconjunction with consumers’ education programs.
