The main goal of this paper was to analyze and compare two information systems before their implementation. Analysis has been made of advantages of a contemporary information system (IS) and possibilities of its upgrading to a higher version. The method of SWOT analysis has been used. Strengths and weaknesses have been defined, as well as opportunities and threats of these IS. On the basis of the results reached, the strategy and particular solutions have been suggested. It can also be concluded that this information system is suitable for wood processing companies and forest companies. |
