The wastewater from the dye synthesis facilities contains high concentrations oforganic solutes and multivalent ions. This contribution evidences the influence of ionicsurfactants on colloidal ultrafiltration of dyes. The surfactant-dye mixed aqueous solutionsobtained by varying the dye and surfactant concentration respectively was characterized byUV-VIS spectroscopy. The interaction between these components and the ultrafiltrationmembrane determines the flow and retention values. |
