Contents: For the oS298.15 K standard entropy of the CuSb2O6 trirutile type compound a value of 155.06J/mole K was calculated. The corresponding value of Go 1224.79 kJ/mol298.15 K,CuSb O2 6" ! wasobtained, which agrees in reasonable limits with the reported data for NiSb2O6(#fGo298.15 = –1245.514 kJ/mol). The small magnitude of the calculated values seems to supportthe idea that CuO forms a much more stable compound with Sb2O5 than with Sb2O3.
