Following the world wide most evident interests about environment protection, the present paper studies the analysis of several Romanian areas contaminated – within the legally accepted limits, though – with heavy metals. Analytical techniques like energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence (EDXRF) spectrometry and inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy (ICP AES) are applied for the analysis of soil composition, as well as the use of both techniques in tandem. |
