Paper presents several tests regarding the effect of CO2 on the flame propagation instoichiometric ethylene-air mixture, at atmospheric and subatmospheric initial pressures. Resultsare discussed and compared with literature data. The apparent activation energy of thepropagation process is also determined in the presence of CO2 (526 kJ/mol). |
