Excess molar volumes, VE, of mixtures of toluene + propane-2-ol, methyl-2-propane-1-ol, butane-2-ol and propane-1-ol were determined from density measurements at 20, 25, 30and 35ºC, respectively. The VE is positive over the entire composition range for all mixtures,with the exception of toluene + propane-1-ol system, where the VE is negative at low toluenemole fractions. The experimental excess molar volumes were correlated by means of the Redlich- Kister equation. |
