Aspiramos apresentar sumariamente, neste trabalho, uma introdução à questão da filosofia primeira em Augusto Comte, cientista e filósofo francês, propositor de uma moral científica, ao mesmo tempo teórica ou moral propriamente dita e prática ou educação, fundador da sociologia científica e da filosofia positiva ou positivismo, e fundador de uma religião antissobrenaturalista, a religião da humanidade. O nosso objetivo principal, neste momento, é apenas tentar esclarecer a aparente contradição entre o fato de Comte combater e superar a metafísica e o fato dele propor uma filosofia primeira, nome da obra aristotélica que depois foi denominada de metafísica; e assim contribuir para melhor conhecimento da filosofia comtiana. Concluímos que não se tratou de um retorno à metafísica que ele quis superar e sim de um retorno a uma metafísica necessária, como filosofia primeira, para servir de marco teórico-metodológico para a(s) filosofia(s) científica(s) ou, melhor dizendo, para o caso de Comte, para a filosofia positivista.Our intention is to present briefly in this work an introduction to the question of the first philosophy in Auguste Comte, a French scientist and philosopher who proposed a scientific moral which is at the same time theoretical or moral in itself, and practice or education. He was the founder of scientific sociology as well as of positive philosophy or positivism, and also the founder of an anti-supernaturalist religion, the religion of humanity. Our purposeis to try to clarify the apparent contradiction between the fact that Comte fights and overcomes metaphysics and the fact that he proposes a first philosophy, the name of the Aristotelian work that was later called metaphysics; and thus contribute to a better knowledge of Comte’s philosophy. We concluded that it was not a return to metaphysics that he wanted to overcome, but a return to a necessary metaphysics, such as first philosophy, to serve as a theoretical-methodological milestone for the scientific philosophy(ies) or, in other words, in Comte’s case, for positivist philosophy.
