O artigo trata da releitura de Lyotard do pensamento de Kant, com destaque para a ideia de que sem o juízo estético reflexionante o sistema das três Críticas perderia sua criticidade. A incompatibilidade da estética com a razão teórico-instrumental não é sinal de sua fraqueza ou menoridade, frente ao conceito, mas o indício de sua profundidade na expressão do que este não consegue atingir. A estética revela-se como crítica da crítica, sem aqual não há razão possível. The article deals with the reading of Lyotard on the thought of Kant, with emphasis on the idea that without aesthetics the system of the three Critics lose their critical dimension. The incompatibility of aesthetics with theoretical-practical reason does not denote its weakness or subjection towards the concept, but rather a sign of its extent by going further than it can possibly achieve. Aesthetics reveals itself as a criticism of critique, without which there is no possible reason. |
