The seedlings raised in polythene covering of seed bed were reported to produce the highest plant attributes in boro rice. Recommended NPK fertilizer+Ash+Cowdung produced the highest grain yield (5.98 t ha<SUp>-1</SUp>) and also showed better performance in plant height, bearing tillers hill<SUp>-1</SUp>, panicle length, sterile spikelets panicle<SUp>-1</SUp> and straw yield than other treatments. The treatment combination of seedlings raised in polythene cover of seed bed and recommended NPK+Ash+Cowdung produced the highest grain yield. |
