In the work the knowledge on position of the Gemericum in the Western Carpathians System is given and shortly the geological structure is defined, while the emphasis is given on the fact that the Paleozoic complexes have the character of shear zones, on which the effects of mineralization of the siderite formation are bound. Furthermore there is defined the position of the Rožňava ore field and overall character of vein structures from the structural and partially metallogenetic points of view. Besides the genesis of vein structures and their tectonic position in the work there are also solved problems of the morphology of these veins. |
