Results of the laboratory test treatment of the zinc containing steelwork dusts in a hot liquid pig iron are described. These results show that it is necessary to use an external reductant. The zinc content of the dust emission is ca. 20 %. The charge of the steel-works dusts diminished the Si and Mn content of pig iron. |
