The basic question facing people abused in childhood is, “How can I live?” They therefore develop moral theories about the world and themselves and methods of survival. Support has to be based on their theories and methods of survival and directed towards guiding the reactivation of blocked learning processes and learning how to achieve their personal goals. These issues are discussed in the present article. |
