This chapter suggests a reconceptualization of autonomy as a way to think about developing options for a client suffering from mistreatment. It suggests ways for a multidisciplinary team to function despite differences in professional orientation and values. After describing the financial and other constraints that team members encounter in making recommendations for clients, the chapter closes wtih suggestions for immediate action despite these serious constraints. |
