Several attempts have been made to evaluate the citation behavior of law reviews, periodicals and journals as well as reported case law. This article surveys these earlier efforts and combines the results to develop a composite or synthesis. The "high impact" or most highly cited titles are the most highly cited with remarkable consistency in these studies. However, further research is needed to provide a definitive description of the most highly cited law reviews, periodicals and journals. |
