Title: The N.Y.U. Law Library Catalogue Revisited
Author: Marke, Julius J.
Appeared in: Legal reference services quarterly
Paging: Volume 9 (1989) nr. 1-2 pages 11-32
Year: 1989-07-11
Contents: A Catalogue of the Law Collection at New York Universiw was compiled by Julius J. Marke at a time when the library book catalog had become a neglected art. Because of its logical arrangement and valuable annotations, however, it has become one of the most popular and successful legal bibliographies ever published. The author recalls the struggles involved in compiling that work and credits Arthur Vanderbilt as a moving force behind the bibliography.
