This paper describes and evaluates a continuing education/consultation program conducted by the faculty of the Program on Gerontology, Oregon State University. The purpose of the program was to stimulate development of linkages between the formal service network and the informal support system of the elderly. Implications for educational institutions planning to offer similar programs are discussed. |
