This paper urges the establishment of a stranger relationship between staff development and the requirements and obligations of equal employment opportunity considerations. The legal climate is explored, along with various organizational barriers that impinge on these issues. A number of suggestions are made for assuring that staff development efforts meet equal employment opportunity and affirmative action objectives. Finally, several unresolved issues are discussed. |
