Contents: The impact of poplrock music on youth's attitudes toward aging is examined in this paper. Nine poplrock songs from the 1960s and '70s with relevance to old age and aging were content analyzed. The aged are presented as sad and lonely beings in most of the songs analyzed. Further study in this area is recommended in order to examine the effects of poplrock music on people's attitudes toward aging.
