Genera Bakerina, Mesobryobia, Panonychus and Porcupinychus (Acarina : Tetranychidae) are reported from India. B. orissaensis n. sp. on jack fruit; M. jobneri n. sp. on napier grass ; P. ulmi on apple, apricot, fig, hibiscus, ivy, jack fruit, peach, plum, quinx, rose, tomato, walnut, wheat; Porcupinychus abutilioni Anwarullah on Sida sp. are recorded. However, M. terpoghossiani (Bagdasarian) recorded on grasses and Panonychus citri (McGregor) on citrus are not collected in the present study.
