In this article, the author takes the position that technology really has changed education and society in some dramatic ways. He celebrates some of the advances in education brought about by the advent of the World Wide Web, but also expresses regret for the fact that the potential of present-day technology has not been fully taken advantage of, and that its power is not universally available. |
