Two year colleges and their Learning Resources Programs (LRPs) use national standards (ACRL) in a variety of ways. The spectrum of standards implementation ranges from complete non-use in some LRPs to full recognition in others where standards are often used to explain budgetary needs to college administration. This study looks into the actual use of national standards in two year colleges, braking the data down into (a) rural, (b) suburban, and (c) urban, and further by FTE and single- or multicampus institutions. |
