In January 1999 Rogers State College in Claremore, Oklahoma was transformed by legislation into Rogers State University. The implications of this shift in mission and scope were large for the staff of the Thunderbird Library. Some of the administrative, public services and technical services changes are described with a reminder that library services must be one of the first components on campus to prepare for this sort of restructuring and be proactive to meet new student and faculty needs for expanded services. |
