Bibliographic information and cited references from source articles by members of the Emory University Physics Department were downloaded as an ASCII file from ISI's SCISEARCH (Science Citation Index) on DIALOG. This file was loaded into a word processing program for editing and then into a spreadsheet program for analysis. Information about format, subject and location of each cited reference was added to the spreadsheet. Analysis of the citations and added information can be useful in making collection management decisions. |
