This article describes the implementation and development of a collaborative effort between a clinical psychology training program and a pediatric neurology clinic within a medical school to provide multidisciplinary services to children and families experiencing neurological and psychological problems. The article provides a description of the neurologist's views concerning the advantages of psychological consultation in a neurology clinic, as well as a description of the activities of the new specialized psychology practicum. Case examples as well as possible directions for future delivery of services are also provided. |
